Make word bingo for a group, a small lesson or a solo practice round. Print different arrangements from the same list and keep a caller sheet for the leader.
Add the words that should appear on the cards. Optional clues can serve as prompts on the printed caller sheet.
Create the activities. The board automatically chooses a size that your list can fill without repeating a word.
For a group, open Print and choose 4 or 8 shuffled bingo cards. Give the caller the separate reference sheet.
Read a word or one of your clues. Players mark the matching word. A complete row, column or diagonal wins; the free space is already marked.

Pick words for the way you will call them
For word recognition, call the word itself. For vocabulary practice, read your own clue and ask players to identify the word. For listening practice, say the word in a sentence. Preview the caller sheet so that each prompt has an answer your group can reasonably identify.
How board sizes work
Lists of 3–7 words produce a 2×2 board, 8–14 a 3×3 board, 15–23 a 4×4 board, and 24 a 5×5 board. Each has one free space. A smaller board deliberately uses only part of a longer list when there are not enough words for the next size. The caller can still call every word in the list.
Run a fair group round
Agree whether a row, column or diagonal is enough before you begin. Keep track of called words and ask a winner to read their line back. Printed cards are rearrangements, not a guarantee of unique combinations: very small lists have only a few possible layouts. The online caller displays each word once and does not provide audio.
Questions about bingo
Why is my board smaller than 5×5?
A 5×5 card needs 24 different words plus the free space. Smaller lists get smaller boards so a word never has to be repeated on the same card.
Can I print several cards?
Yes. Choose 1, 4 or 8 shuffled cards in the print options. Keep the optional caller reference for the person leading the activity.
